Warwick, Charles Sydney

Notes |
British War and Victory Medals awarded to Charles Sydney Warwick, my great-grandfather, and Percy Maxwell, his brother-in-law, along with Charles Warwick's dog-tags. These were mounted in the box, along with a photograph of the Somerset Light Infantry, Charles Warwick's regiment, by my grandfather.
Editor's Comment: Corporal 265460 Charles Sydney Warwick, Somerset Light Infantry. Acting Corporal 49835 Percy Maxwell, Royal Flying Corps / Royal Air Force. Oddly, the medal card detailing his entitlement cannot be found in the records of the National Archives. |
