Life in the army

This is an article about a letter from Hedd Wyn written when he was with his regiment - the Royal Welch Fusiliers - in France. He had done some training near Liverpool, and been sent home to help plough the land. During this time he wrote his entry for the National Eisteddfod, which he posted from France on the day his regiment went up to the front line.
