These are the letters home of a young man from New Brighton who was taught to fly in the R.F.C. and then served as a pilot on the Western Front, in Italy, then again on the Western Front and finally in the Army of Occupation in Cologne. The correspondence was preserved by his twin sister, the main recipient, until her death in 2001 at the age of 103.
