Found in the belongings of Regimental Quartermaster Sergeant Philip Edward Jenkins ( No 19162) of the 6th City Battalion Manchester Pals.Serving in the 16th Manchesters in 1918. Captured at the Battle of Manchester Hill, St Quentin. Imprisoned at Kassel, Hessen where he became a 'Trusty' being sent to to town to obtain provisions for his fellow prisoners. How he came by the poster is not known
