Second Lieutenant John Hayes (Jack) Fearnhead of the 1/7 Btn. King's Liverpool Regiment. Jack was my grandmother's sweetheart. He was killed, aged just 21 on the 13 August, 1916 at Guillemont on the Somme. His body was lost.
