This is the postcard my great great grandfather, Private Charles John Brown (No. 241762 Royal West Kent Regiment) sent to his wife, Alice Rebecca Brown, to wish her a happy birthday. Her birthday was 6th March. This is the last Birthday card he sent her before he was killed at Passchendaele in October 1917.
