The first page
This is the opening page of a letter by Wilfred Owen to his mother, dated January 10th, 1917. As one can see it appears to be written in somewhat of a hurry. In this page he talks of the problems of living (and writing) under war conditions, his tasks as an officer (censoring mail, studying plans, running parades).
