Wilfred Owen (born 1893, died 1918)
Wilfred Owen served with the Manchester Regiment on the Western Front. He enlisted in 1915 and was sent to France as an officer in 1916. He served there, enduring as long as he could, until April 1917 when he was sent back to England suffering from shell-shock.
