Siegfried Sasson
Whilst at Craiglockhart Owen became close friends with Siegfried Sassoon. Sassoon was a fellow officer and also a published poet. During their time in Edinburgh both poets produced some of the best poetry the nation has even seen. Their subject was simple.... war.... and the pity of war.
