Hedd Wyn's grave
The headstone was to read simply E.H. Evans, but after the War a petition was submitted to the Commonwealth
War Graves Commission, and it was granted that his grave could also read ‘Y Prifardd Hedd Wyn’ (The Principle
Bard, Hedd Wyn).
