Typescript without alterations. Prepared by Marion Scott, and possibly amongst those poems submitted to and rejected by the firm Sidgwick and Jackson in 1922. This version contains minor differences to the on included in P.J. Kavanagh's 'Ivor Gurney: Collected Poems' (2004), along with an alternative 5th stanza. 'Collected Poems' also contains another poem with the same title beginning 'Behind the Line...'.
