Notes |
Two typewritten letters from United Confectionery Co. Ltd. (signed by A. J. Chapman) to Sergeant Ralph William Redhead (sic), sent when he was in hospital recovering from being wounded in the arm. The second letter is a copy of an earlier missive which was enclosed with the first. The letters mention tins of acid drops which the company is sending to Redhead's battalion, and the second letter promises to send him one in hospital. Part of a collection relating to Ralph William Readhead of the 4th East Yorks.
