Notes |
The Allied trenches at Sanctuary Wood, near Hill 62 (also known as Tor Top). Although the trenches have obviously been shored up with corrugated iron/zinc the shape of the trench system with zig-zags, traverses, bastions and dug-outs gives the visitors (and there are many) a very good feel for what a trench was like.
