Donation from a Mother
The following gratifying letter was received on December 18:- The Oaks
School, Harrow on the Hill:- “Dear Sir, The £7 I am sending herewith
represents the proceed of a school Christmas party given to parents and
friends of the pupils here, when we made a special appeal for the funds of
your Society. The motive for this is supplied by yourselves. I can never be
grateful enough for the help and kindness proffered to my son, a ‘Shipwrecked
Mariner’ as a result of being torpedoed last April.”
