Grandad's lie
During the latter half of the war my grandfather, Herbert Robinson stole his
older brothers birth certificate and enlisted. His brother Ernest was working
down the mine and couldn't go. Grandad went to France to train to be a tank
driver. He said he never actually saw muchwar as peace was declared soon
after he got there.
