One of five brothers, the sons of Arthur and Mary Perry from Tean in Staffordshire. They were my great-uncles. All served in the Great War. Edmund (Ted) was the only one who survived.
Cpl. Arthur Perry 89314, in 'B' Battery, 48th Brigade, Royal Field Artillery. Died 23/10/1915 aged 32yrs. Buried in Wimbreus Communal Cemetery. Plot 1 Row K, Grave 19. |
