One of two versions, this poems is part of a series of four (106-109) titled 'Household Poems', intended by Edward Thomas to presented together. Written well convalescing in Steep. Myfanwy Thomas, born in 1910 is the daughter of Edward and Helen Thomas. The manuscript is untitled but is labeled '[3 Myfanwy]' in 'Edward Thomas Collected Poems'.
