Notes |
Driver, Later Company Quarter Master Sergeant Jack Powell, Meritorious Service Medal (MSM), 1894 - 1941. A. S. C. (Army Service Corps.), 18th Division, Service Number: T2-12960.
This is his diary from the Western Front dating 25th July 1915 to 1st January 1919 (Transcribed as written in pencil in his Field Message Book). Editor's Comment: T2 suggests that the man in question was in motorised transport. The field book that the diary is written in was not produced until 1918, thus it is believed that entries added were written from other sources or in retrospect. |
