Notes |
Postcard from Private Frederick Guy of the Sherwood Foresters to his mother in Hull. The picture side of the card bears a photograph labelled "Gate Bridge, York" (the edge of the image is missing, so 'Gate' may be the end of a longer word or phrase). The message on the back reads: "Fulford Road, York. Dear Mother, Arrived safe. We are having a look round at present. It is thundering and lightning and raining cats and dogs. Have seen Tom. He is Orderly Corporal for to day. Fred" Part of a collection relating to Frederick Guy.
