My father picked this Bible up on the Battlefield. Thomas Strickland was in the 6th Bn. Kings Own (Royal Lancaster) Regiment. I think the Bible used to have the name of a Canadian soldier on the inside cover.
Editor's Comment: New Testament given out by the 'Pocket Testament League'. Name pencilled into front cover, but illegible. |
