Editor's Comment: Photograph of the damage inflicted by HMS C3, commanded by Lt. R. D. Sandford, who lost his life and won the Victoria Cross in the action. Part of the diversionary attack on the Mole mounted during the Zeebrugge Raid, an amphibious assault on the port of Zeebrugge (Belgian coast).
