Wenham Christian Name: William Comp: British 5 Batt Lincs Regt Camp of prisoners of war No: 2683 Cottbus No I Germany Mrs East 45 Barcroft St New Cleethorpes Grimsby Lincs England, 9.12.17 Dear Sister & All, Just a line hoping you are all in real good health, as it leaves me champion just at the present. I was very pleased to hear that Mother and all are keeping in good health. Well Dear, we have had some snow here but it has fined up a bit now. I hope it is alright at home. I am longing to see you all, and I sincerely hope it won't be long. Give my Best Love to Mother & all. A kiss for the children xxx and accept the same yourself from Your Loving Brother Billy xx A Merry Xmas to everyone xx" |
