Wenham Christian Name: William Comp: British 5TH Batt Lincs Regt Camp of prisoners of war No: 2683 Cottbus No I Germany Mrs East 45 Barcroft St New Cleethorpes Grimsby Lincs England 25.11.17 Dear Sister & all, Just a line in answer to your most welcome & Loving letters, hoping you are all still in real good health as it leaves me champion just at present. I am going to have my photo taken at first opportunity, only we have had such miserable weather here lately, nothing but rain. I hope it is better at home. I have told Lily she will be better at your house. Well, Give my Love to Mother, and all I know. A kiss for the children xxx and accept the same yourself from Your Loving Brother Billy xx" |
