Wenham Christian Name: William Comp: British 5TH Batt Lincs Regt Camp of prisoners of war No: 2683 Cottbus No I Germany Mrs East 45 Barcroft St New Cleethorpes Grimsby Lincs England 5.8.17 Dear Sister, Just a line hoping this will find you all in real good health, as it leaves me champion just at the moment. The weather is keeping fine I am pleased to say. I am so pleased you have heard from Lily. I wish you could induce her to come over, because she must be very worried. I am certain you know what it is, Dear to be upset. Give my love to Mother and everyone I know. A kiss for the children xxx and accept the same yourself. Your Loving Brother Billy." |
