Notes |
Pencil draft of lines 209-232 of the verse play here entitled 'The Amulet', written on the reverse of IR/III/101. With stage instructions following line 232. Numbered 18. Isaac Rosenberg described the 'The Amulet' as a poem rather than a verse play. During the summer of 1917 he abandoned 'The Amulet' and began to work on 'The Unicorn', reusing many lines from the earlier poem.
