Bob Dowdeswell was Pam Hyett's uncle. He was seriously injured in a road accident whilst driving a lorry near Dover, Kent. He died on the 20th April 1917 at Shorncliffe military hospital in Kent, and was buried at St Mary's, Prestbury, Cheltenham.
Part of a collection relating to the service of Frank (7th Buffs) and Bob (Army Service Corps) Dowdeswell, of Shaw Green, Prestbury, nr Cheltenham. |
