Herbert Edward Freestone, born 29th February 1880 at Hadfield, Derbyshire. He was a private soldier in the Royal Welsh Fusiliers.
Herbert Freestone was invalided out before the end of the war and lived until 1956. Editor's Comment: Leather purse containing two enamelled 'Sweetheart' broaches of the Royal Welsh Fusiliers, and a Royal Welsh Fusiliers bi-metallic cap badge. |
