John Green, known as Tom, signed up in Nottingham at the start of the war. He was about 23 at the time. He eventually made sergeant and a PT instructor. He was wounded and returned to England to receive further medical treatment.
Editor's Comment: Note that Hospital 'Blues' Uniform is worn under Service Dress greatcoats. Serjeant 13676 John Thomas Green, 1st Bn. Lincolnshire Regiment. |
