Editor's Comment:
Unidentified aircraftsman in the Plastron fronted ('Maternity') jacket of the Royal Flying Corps, with Royal Flying Corps embroidered shoulder titles. The hat, however, is a 1918 pattern Royal Air Force cap. In the early years of the Royal Air Force, such a mixture of old and new uniform was not uncommon. |
