Certificate from Northern Command Bombing School awarded to Serg. Charles W. Carr (now with 4th Reserve Batt. Gloucestershire Regiment). He was sent on this course after recovery from being seriously wounded - shot in the legs by machine gun bullets - during the the attack of the 2/5th Battalion Gloucestershire Regiment on Pond Farm during the battle of Paschendale.
