Ergotherapy
Brock treated patients using ergotherapy.
This meant he would place patients back into normal surroundings to try and remove the memory of trench warfare and to allow them to build up confidence and strength again.
Some patients took gardening classes, some led Boy Scout groups. Owen being an English literature specialist went to Tynecastle High School to teach classes.
