A medal card
This is a card for a soldier from the West Yorks discharged from the army in March 1917. It contains the man's name and Regiment, his regimental number and his rank (Lance Corporal, later Corporal), as well as his date of enlistment, date of discharge and reason for discharge "Wounds". The card will also give the Silver War Badge roll reference.
