Photograph of Edmund Blunden in a war cemetary in Belgium, taken by his daughter Margi Blunden on a visit in 1965. They stayed at Skindles Hotel in Poperinghe. Blunden spent time there during a relatively quiet period in the sector in the first half of 1917 leading up to the battle of Passchendaele, and again in August of the same year.
