This memorial sits on top of Hill 62, at the crest of a series of steps and tiers and walls. The inscription reads 'Here at Mount Sorrel and on the line from Hooge to St. Eloi the Canadian Corps fought in the defence of Ypres, April - August 1916'. Around the monument are names pointing to for example Ypres, Hill 60 and Messines. From Hill 62 you can see Ypres.
